ADVANTAGES OF THE PRODUCT
• varnished surfaces do not change color over time and are resistant to scratching and abrasion;
• extremely fast drying of the film (chemical process of the interaction of the polyol with the isocyanate hardener);
• creates a smooth, colorless coating with excellent gloss, which does not retain dust and can be cleaned with water and detergents;
• coating resistant to moisture and aggressive liquids (oil, acids, bases)
• has excellent adhesion to surfaces;
• at the customer's request it can be produced as matt and gloss;
BASIC REQUIREMENTS
The substrate must be sound, dry and well cleaned of dust, grease and other contaminants.
• New wood - impregnation with AQUIS Wood Impregnator is recommended, which penetrates the wood, protects it from pests and creates a good base for applying a decorative layer.
• Treated wood - old, damaged coatings should be removed and unevenness filled and leveled with appropriate sandpaper. Already painted or varnished surfaces are not primed, but only sanded before applying a decorative layer.
METHOD OF WORK
The varnish is mixed with the hardener in a ratio of 2 parts varnish and 1 part hardener. Apply with a brush or spray gun. After mixing the varnish with the hardener, the mixture should be used within 3-4 hours. Two-layer application is recommended. The second layer is applied after the first layer is completely dry.
